ABER Reviewer Comments

. . .  dissertation has significance, resonance, ethical qualities, and relevance. I was moved by [the] research and stories to take action when situations arise that I can do more, say more, and be more in the process of education. I hope [the author] will continue to engage in this necessary work in the field.

This is an excellent dissertation. I would have liked to see more engagement with the ABER scholarship.

The author of Power of Equality Myths has, in this work, much like the classrooms she has worked in and the clubs she has started, created a space for deep conversation. The work is a challenge not only to those whom we might call her opponents, but to those who could be identified as her allies.
